Simply place the Glass Dome magnifier on the surface and glide across to easily view with 3x magnification if you desire more magnification you will need to purchase an acrylic Dome Magnifier as they will have slightly more magnification.
A 2.3″ provides a small-medium magnifying area is large enough to magnify specific hard to read areas on documents, technical plans, marine charts, architectural plans, and geological maps. Unlike others Glass Domes ours has a metal side and edge rim to help prevent cracking and chipping which is a common problem with glass domes.
